Why Can't I Add Another LinkedIn Account?

Why am I seeing an error when trying to connect a new LinkedIn account?

Your current plan includes a set number of LinkedIn accounts (seats). If you have already connected that many accounts across your workspaces, you will not be able to add any more until you purchase an additional seat.

When you hit the limit, you will see an error prompting you to purchase an add-on or additional seat before you can connect a new account.

How are seats counted?

Seats are counted across all your workspaces combined not per workspace.

This means if your plan includes 4 LinkedIn accounts and you have connected:

  • 2 accounts in Workspace A

  • 1 account in Workspace B

  • 1 account in Workspace C

You have used all 4 seats and will not be able to connect any additional accounts, regardless of which workspace you try to add them to.

What should I do if I need to connect more accounts?

You have two options:

Option 1 — Purchase an additional seat: Go to Billing from the left sidebar and add more seats to your plan. Each additional seat allows you to connect one more LinkedIn account across your workspaces.

Option 2 — Remove an existing account: If you no longer need one of your currently connected accounts, disconnect it from Settings → Connected Accounts to free up a seat for the new account.

Key Reminders

  • Your seat limit applies across all workspaces combined not per individual workspace

  • You will see an error when trying to add an account beyond your plan limit

  • Additional seats can be purchased at any time from the Billing page

  • Disconnecting an existing account frees up a seat immediately
