Overview

Consistency is key to LinkedIn success, but remembering to post at optimal times can be challenging. Supergrow's Calendar feature helps you visualize, schedule, and manage your content across days, weeks, or months, ensuring you never miss a posting window.

What You'll Learn

  • How to set up your time slots for scheduling

  • How to schedule posts on the calendar

  • How to view and manage scheduled posts

  • How to edit or unschedule posts

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Calendar

  1. Click Calendar in the left sidebar under "Drafts & Scheduling"

  2. You'll see your content calendar with a week or month view

You're in the right place if you see: A calendar grid showing days of the week with time slots.

Step 2: Set Up Time Slot Settings

Before scheduling, configure when you want to post.

  1. Click "⚙️ Time Slot Settings" in the top right

  2. The Schedule Settings modal will appear

Set Your Time Zone

  1. Verify or select your timezone from the dropdown

  2. Example: (GMT+5:30) India Standard Time

⚠️ Important: Ensure your timezone is correct so posts publish at the right time.

Add Time Slots

  1. Under Time Slots, you'll see a grid with days of the week

  2. Default slot appears (e.g., 09:00 AM)

  3. Check the boxes for days you want this time slot active

To add more time slots:

  1. Click the + icon at the bottom left

  2. A new time slot row appears

  3. Set the time and select active days

To remove a time slot:

  • Click the × icon next to the time

💡 Tip: Generally it is best practice to post at the same time day.

Step 3: Schedule a Post

Now you're ready to add content to your calendar. There are two ways to schedule a post.

Option 1: Pick a saved post directly on the calendar

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) on any empty time slot

  2. Select "Pick a saved post"

  3. Choose a draft from your Content Library or Kanban board

  4. The post will be scheduled for that slot

Option 2: Write a new post

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) on any empty time slot

  2. Select "Write new post"

  3. You'll be taken to the post editor

  4. Create your post and it will be scheduled automatically

Step 4: View Scheduled Posts

Once scheduled, posts appear in your calendar slots.

What you'll see:

  • Post preview/thumbnail in the time slot

  • Scheduled date and time

  • Post status

View options:

  • Week view: See all posts for the current week

  • Month view: Toggle to month view for a broader overview

  • Today: Jump back to today's date

  • Navigation arrows (← →): Move between weeks/months

Step 5: Manage Scheduled Posts

Need to make changes to a scheduled post?

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) on the scheduled post slot

  2. You'll see three options:

View Post

  • Preview the full post content

  • See how it will appear on LinkedIn

Edit Post

  • Make changes to the caption, images, or carousel

  • Update hashtags or formatting

  • Changes save automatically

Unschedule Post

  • Remove the post from the scheduled time slot

  • Post returns to drafts (not deleted)

  • Use this if you need to reschedule for a different time

Note: You can only edit or unschedule posts that haven't been published yet.

Step 6: Confirm Scheduled Post

After scheduling, you'll see a confirmation in the calendar slot showing:

  • Post content preview

  • Scheduled date and time

  • Status indicator

Success indicator: The time slot now shows your post content instead of "Empty."

Best Practices

Do This:

Batch schedule content:

  • Set aside time weekly to schedule multiple posts

  • Maintain consistency without daily effort

Use optimal time slots:

  • Schedule for Tuesday-Thursday, 9 AM - 12 PM

  • Test different times and track performance

Plan campaigns ahead:

  • Use month view to visualize content themes

  • Balance different content types throughout the week

Review before publishing:

  • Check scheduled posts a day before

  • Make last-minute edits if needed

Set multiple time slots:

  • Create 2-3 posting times per day for variety

  • Match time slots to your audience's active hours

Avoid This:

  • Scheduling too many posts in one day

  • Forgetting to set the correct timezone

  • Not reviewing scheduled content regularly

  • Scheduling without checking for conflicts or events
