Overview
The Slack integration allows you to receive real-time notifications in your Slack channel whenever a post is published, and get a weekly analytics summary, all without leaving Slack.
What You Can Do with Slack Integration
As an admin, you can:
Connect Supergrow to any Slack channel
Get notified when a post is published
Receive weekly analytics summaries in Slack
Change the connected channel at any time
Disconnect the integration when needed
1. Connect Slack to Supergrow
Link your Slack workspace to start receiving notifications.
How it works:
Step 1: Click Slack from the left sidebar under "Integrations".
Step 2: Click Connect Slack and authorize Supergrow to access your Slack workspace.
Step 3: Select the Slack channel where you want to receive notifications.
Step 4: Once connected, you'll see a Connected badge next to the channel name.
After connecting, make sure to invite the Supergrow AI Bot to your Slack channel. Type /invite @Supergrow AI Bot in the channel for notifications to work.
2. Set Up Notification Preferences
Choose which types of notifications you want to receive in Slack.
How it works:
Step 1: Go to Slack under "Integrations" in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Under Notification Preferences, you'll see two options:
Post Published : Get notified every time a post goes live
Weekly Analytics : Receive a weekly summary of your team's performance
Step 3: Toggle each option on or off based on your preference.
Step 4: Changes are saved automatically.
3. Change the Connected Channel
Switch the integration to a different Slack channel at any time.
How it works:
Step 1: Go to Slack under "Integrations".
Step 2: Click Change Channel.
Step 3: Select the new channel you want notifications sent to.
Step 4: Remember to type /invite @Supergrow AI Bot in the new channel for notifications to continue working.
4. Disconnect Slack
Remove the Slack integration from your Supergrow account.
How it works:
Step 1: Go to Slack under "Integrations".
Step 2: Click Disconnect.
Step 3: Confirm the action. Supergrow will stop sending notifications to your Slack channel.
You can reconnect at any time by following the setup steps above.
Key Reminders
Always invite @Supergrow AI Bot to your Slack channel, without this, notifications will not be delivered
Both Post Published and Weekly Analytics notifications are enabled by default after connecting
If you change channels, re-invite the bot to the new channel
Only one Slack channel can be connected at a time per workspace
