How to Use Tags in Supergrow

Overview

Tags in Supergrow are for internal use only inside Supergrow, they are not hashtags and will not appear on your LinkedIn post when published. They are labels you add to posts to help you and your team identify, filter, and manage content more easily across the Kanban board.

Tags are visible on post cards in the Kanban board, making it easy for you or your team to quickly reference what a post is about, which campaign it belongs to, or what stage it's at, without opening the post itself.

What You Can Do with Tags

  • Add one or more tags to any post

  • Create new tags on the fly while writing

  • Search through existing tags to find and apply them quickly

  • Use tags to organise and reference posts on the Kanban board

  • Remove tags from a post at any time

1. Add a Tag to a Post

Step 1: Open any post in the Write Post editor, either create a new one or open an existing draft.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the editor. You'll see a Tags field with a + button next to it.

Step 3: Click the + button to open the tag picker.

Step 4: In the Search tags field, type the name of a tag you want to add.

Step 5: If the tag already exists, it will appear in the dropdown, click the checkbox next to it to select it.

Step 6: If it's a new tag, type the name and press Enter to create it. It will be added to your post and saved for future use.

Step 7: The tag will appear as a pill next to the Tags label at the bottom of the editor (e.g. education ร—).

Tags are saved automatically with your post, no extra save step needed.

2. Add Multiple Tags to a Post

Step 1: Click the + button next to the Tags field.

Step 2: Select or create the first tag.

Step 3: While the tag picker is still open, search for and select additional tags. Each selected tag will show a checkmark next to it.

Step 4: All selected tags will appear as pills at the bottom of the editor (e.g. drafts ร— education ร—).

There is no limit on how many tags you can add to a single post.

3. Remove a Tag from a Post

Step 1: In the Write Post editor, scroll to the Tags field at the bottom.

Step 2: Click the ร— on any tag pill to remove it from the post.

The tag itself is not deleted from your account, it will still be available for future posts.

4. Use Tags on the Kanban Board

Step 1: Click Kanban from the left sidebar under "Drafts & Scheduling".

Step 2: Posts with tags will display their tag labels on the post card across all columns, Drafts, In-Review, Approved, Scheduled, and Published.

Step 3: Use the tags visible on each card to quickly reference the content type, topic, or campaign without needing to open the post.

Step 4: If you are an admin managing a team, tags help you and your team members quickly identify what each post is about at a glance across all workspaces.
