How to Create Content Using PostCast?

Overview

PostCast in Supergrow helps you turn your thoughts, opinions, and experiences into LinkedIn posts without sitting down to write from scratch.

You talk. PostCast asks questions. Content gets created.

What is PostCast?

PostCast works like a guided interview with an AI interviewer named Alex.

Instead of:

Writing a post
Thinking of hooks
Structuring ideas

You:

Answer questions in a conversation
Share your thoughts naturally
Let Supergrow convert them into LinkedIn-ready content

It's designed for people who:

Have ideas but don't want to write

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access PostCast

Log in to Supergrow
Click PostCast in the left sidebar under "Content Creation"
You'll see the "Postcast Sessions" page

Step 2: Start a New Session

Click + New Session in the top right corner
A modal will appear: "Create New Interview Session"
You'll see the tagline: "Choose how you'd like to start your conversation with Alex, our AI interviewer"

Step 3: Select Session Type

Choose from three options:

Topic Discussion (Recommended)

Start a fresh conversation about any topic
Create your own or use suggested topics
Best for: New content ideas

Text Content Discussion

Analyze and discuss specific text content, articles, or written material with AI insights
Best for: Repurposing existing content

Follow-up Session

Continue the conversation from a previously completed session
Dive deeper into topics
Best for: Expanding on previous interviews

Step 4: Select a Format

After choosing your session type, choose a format:

Voice only

Audio only interview with Alex.

Voice + video (New)

Records both your voice and video during the session.

What you can do with the recording:

Repurpose into LinkedIn videos and reels
Pull 30–60s clips for short-form posts hand-pick the moment that lands hardest and post it

💡 Heads-up: Supergrow doesn't include a video editor. Download the recording and use a tool like OpusClip (auto-cut clips), Descript (edit by transcript), or CapCut (free, fast captions) to clip and caption.

Step 5: Set Up Your Topic (for Topic Discussion)

Option 1: Enter a Custom Topic

In the "Custom Topic" field, enter your topic.

Example: "Building a successful startup, Remote work challenges..."

Option 2: Choose from Suggested Topics

Scroll down to "Choose from Suggested Topics". Select from pre-made topics like:

Career transitions and job changes
Customer success practices
Talent acquisition and recruitment
Startup culture and founder appreciation

💡 Choose something you have experience with, have an opinion on, or can speak about comfortably.

Step 6: Start the Session

After selecting your topic, click Start Session
Note: "Session will last approximately 30 minutes"

Camera & microphone check (Voice + video only)

If you selected Voice + video, a check screen will appear before the session starts:

Review your camera preview to check framing
Speak normally to test your mic level
Select your preferred Camera and Microphone from the dropdowns if needed
Click Looks good, Start to proceed

First Question Preview

Before the session begins you'll see a Your First Question Preview screen showing Alex's opening question. Click Start Session when you're ready.

Step 7: Answer the Questions

Alex will ask you a series of guided questions
A Live Transcript appears on the right in real time
Answer in your own words, naturally
Speak like you would in a conversation
There are no right or wrong answers

Tips:

Be natural and honest
Don't overthink structure
Give specific examples when possible
The quality of output improves when answers are detailed

Use the I need a moment to think button if you need to pause. Click End Session when done.

Step 8: Wait for Upload to Complete

After ending the session, Supergrow will automatically upload your interview.

You'll see an Uploading your interview... progress screen
Once uploading is complete it will show Finalizing...

💡 Do not close this tab during upload, closing it will interrupt the process and your recording may be lost.

Once complete, you'll receive an email notification from Supergrow Bot confirming your PostCast analysis is ready with a View your analysis link.

Step 9: View Conversation Analysis

After the session is processed, you'll land on the Conversation Analysis page.

Video Recording (Voice + video only):

If you recorded with video, a thumbnail will appear in the top right of the analysis page. Click it to open your recording. From here you can:

Watch the full recording
Click Download to save the video file
Access Captions / Transcript from the video options
Use Picture-in-picture mode

Ideas for your recording:

Clip a 30–60s segment the strongest minute of the conversation posted as native video
Pair the clip with your written post for richer context and trust
Hand off to an editor for reels, shorts, or long-form cuts

💡 Heads-up: Supergrow doesn't include a video editor. Download the recording and use a tool like OpusClip, Descript, or CapCut to edit and caption.

Step 10: Generate LinkedIn Posts (Critical Step)

This is the most important step. Content generation in Supergrow is iterative by design.

10.1 Generate Initial Posts

Click Generate My Posts button
Supergrow will generate three LinkedIn post drafts at once
Each post is based on your interview answers, uses your tone and context, and presents a different angle or structure

10.2 Select Your Hook

Before reviewing the posts, you'll see:

Step 1: Hook Selection (3/3)

Supergrow extracts the strongest hooks from your conversation and displays them
Review the recommended hooks shown
Select the hook that best represents the angle you want to lead with
The hook you select will shape the direction of your generated posts

Step 2: Content Style Selection (Optional)
- If your Content DNA is active, you can apply it here to match your writing style
- Toggle between Content DNA and Content Style as needed
- This step is optional but recommended for more on-brand output

💡 The hook is the most important part of your post, it determines whether someone stops scrolling to read. Choose the one that feels most natural and compelling in your voice.

10.3 Review All Three Posts

Before doing anything:

Read all three drafts carefully
Look for which one sounds most like you
Which one communicates the idea most clearly
Which one you'd actually post

You don't need to like all three. You only need one strong direction.

10.4 Regenerate Posts if Needed

If none of the posts feel right:

Click Regenerate Posts button
Supergrow will generate three new posts
Review the new options
Repeat until one post clearly stands out

10.5 Get More Versions of a Post You Like

If you like one of the three posts:

Click Get more versions on that specific post
A modal will appear: "Get More Versions — Tell us how to refine this post"
You'll see the Original Post displayed for reference
In the "What would you like to change?" field, describe how you want the post refined
