Supergrow's content repurposing feature allows you to transform videos, blog posts, PDFs, and articles into engaging LinkedIn posts with just a few clicks. This powerful AI-driven tool saves you time while helping you maximize the value of your existing content.
Accessing Repurpose Content
Step 1: Navigate to Post Generator
Click Post Generator in the left sidebar under "Content Creation"
You'll see the "Generate posts with AI" page
Scroll down to the "Repurpose Content" section
Step 2: Choose Your Content Type
You'll see four repurposing options:
Generate a post from a PDF
Generate a post from a YouTube video
Generate a post from an article
Format your content
Select the option that matches your source material.
Repurpose Content Options
1. Generate a Post from a YouTube Video
What it is: Transform YouTube videos into engaging LinkedIn posts that drive discussion.
Best for:
Educational videos and tutorials
Webinars and conference talks
Expert interviews
Your own video content you want to promote
Industry thought leaders' content (with proper credit)
How to use:
Step 1: Click "Generate a post from a YouTube video"
Step 2: You'll see the "Generate a post from a Youtube video" page with an input form
Step 3: Enter the required information:
YouTube Video URL: Paste the full YouTube link
Content DNA Active: Your unique writing style will be applied automatically (toggle shown)
Add your instructions (Optional): Add specific guidance like "keep word count under 2000 characters"
Step 4: Click Generate button
What happens:
AI analyzes the video content
Extracts key themes and insights
Creates a post that summarizes main points
Adds your unique perspective based on your Content DNA

2. Generate a Post from a PDF
What it is: Upload documents and transform them into shareable LinkedIn posts.
Best for:
Reports and whitepapers
Research papers
Case studies
Ebooks and guides
Your own published documents
How to use:
Step 1: Click "Generate a post from a PDF"
Step 2: You'll see the "Generate a post from a PDF" page
Step 3: Upload your PDF:
Upload PDF section: Choose a file or drag & drop it
Click Browse File to select from your computer
Content DNA Active: Your unique writing style will be applied
Add your instructions (Optional): Specify which sections to highlight (e.g., "Focus on the specific part of the PDF")
Step 4: Click Generate button
What happens:
AI reads and analyzes the PDF content
Identifies key insights and data points
Creates a post highlighting the most important information
Formats it in your writing style

3. Generate a Post from an Article
What it is: Repurpose blog posts and articles into LinkedIn content.
Best for:
Industry news and trends
Thought leadership pieces
How-to articles
Research findings
Your own blog content
How to use:
Step 1: Click "Generate a post from an article"
Step 2: You'll see the "Generate a post from an article" page
Step 3: Enter the article details:
Blog post URL: Paste the article link (e.g., https://www.example.com/blog-post)
Note: The URL content should be open and public
Currently doesn't support PDFs or Google Docs
Content DNA Active: Your writing style will be applied
Add your instructions (Optional): Specify what to focus on (e.g., "focus on a specific part of the blog")
Step 4: Click Generate button
What happens:
AI fetches and analyzes the article
Extracts main themes and key points
Creates a post that summarizes the content
Adds your perspective and commentary

4. Format Your Content
What it is: Polish rough drafts and messy notes into professional, readable LinkedIn posts.
Best for:
Unstructured thoughts and notes
Rough drafts that need cleanup
Content that's too wordy or unclear
Reformatting for LinkedIn's style
Voice notes transcripts that need polishing
How to use:
Step 1: Click "Format your content"
Step 2: You'll see the "Format your content" page
Step 3: Add your content:
Add your content: Paste your unformatted text in the large text box
Content DNA Active: Your writing style will be applied
Add your instructions (Optional): Give specific formatting guidance (e.g., "add less emojis", "make it more professional", "shorten to 500 words")
Step 4: Click Generate button
What happens:
AI restructures your content for readability
Improves clarity and flow
Formats it for LinkedIn's best practices
Applies your Content DNA style

Understanding Post Actions
After generating a post from any repurposing tool, you'll have these options:
Quick Feedback
Thumbs up - Mark posts you like
Thumbs down - Mark posts that don't work
Refine Using AI
Click the AI sparkle icon or "Refine using AI" button
Add specific instructions for improvement
AI will generate a refined version
Common refinements: "make it shorter", "add more data", "remove emojis", "make it more professional"
Save for Later
Click the Bookmark icon or "Save Post" button
Post is saved to your drafts in the Kanban board
Access it later from Drafts & Scheduling
Edit Manually
Click the Edit icon or "Edit Post" button
Opens the post editor
Make manual changes to the content
Customize as needed before saving or publishing
Convert to Carousel
Click "Generate carousel" button
Transforms your post into a visual carousel
Opens Carousel Maker with your content pre-loaded
Great for breaking down longer posts into digestible slides
Generate More Variations
Click "Generate more posts" at the bottom
AI creates additional post variations
All based on the same source material
Gives you more options to choose from
View History
Switch to the "History" tab
See all previously generated versions
Compare different outputs
Restore or reference earlier versions
General Tips for All Repurposing Options
Content DNA Makes it Better
All repurposing tools work with Content DNA Active by default
This ensures the generated post matches your authentic writing style
You can toggle to Content Style if preferred using the "Switch to Content Style" link
Use the Instructions Field Strategically
The optional "Add your instructions" field is powerful. Use it to:
Focus on specific sections or themes
Request certain formatting (fewer emojis, more data, etc.)
Add your unique angle or perspective
Specify target audience considerations
Review and Edit
Generated posts are starting points, not final products:
